2016 Boston Marathon Runner Video

April 15, 2016
2016 marks the 18th consecutive year Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) has participated in the beloved Boston Marathon—the world’s oldest marathon and one of the most elite road races in the world. Since 1998, the BWH Marathon Program has raised more than $7.5 million to transform the future of healthcare through research, education, and compassionate care. BWH is excited to host two outstanding Boston Marathon teams: the Life.Giving.Breakthroughs. team, dedicated to raising funds across all disciplines and disease areas at BWH, and the Stepping Strong team, founded by a Boston Marathon bombing survivor and dedicated to fueling innovative research and clinical programs to advance trauma research and care. Completing a marathon takes endurance, athleticism and grit. We couldn’t be more proud of the 108 extraordinary individuals who chose to run for BWH while keeping the Boston Strong spirit alive. On Marathon Monday, please join us as we cheer our runners on to finish the 26.2-mile course. #RunBold #GiveBold To support a BWH runner, see bwhevents.org/marathon
